Patria’s order book points to sustained growth momentum
The Finnish company published its annual report on Thursday, showing growth of 48.4 percent year on year. At the end of 2025, its order book stood at 3,526 million euro, up from 2,375.5 million euro in 2024.
AdvertisementAs Patria’s new chief executive, Panu Routila, told Defence Nordic on Wednesday, the ambition is to sustain the company’s recent growth trajectory.
- I see no reason why the pace of growth should slow. I expect it to continue, he said.
The order book underlines the scale of work ahead for the company.
More than 2 billion
In December, Patria and Germany signed agreements worth more than 2 billion euro as part of the Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme. The order includes Patria 6x6 vehicles and Patria NEMO mortar systems.

He continued:
- Demand for Patria’s products, services and expertise continues to grow strongly. This is not accidental. It is the result of long-term focus, investment, the trust placed in us by our customers, and the continuous efforts of our more than 4,000 employees.
AdvertisementAlongside the German order, Patria secured additional vehicle orders from Sweden and Denmark, which joined the CAVS programme in 2025 along with the UK and Norway.
Patria has received orders, including options, for almost 2,000 Patria 6x6 vehicles through the programme. However, CAVS remains open to countries with similar requirements, subject to approval by participating states, the company said.
New vehicle
During the year, Patria’s F-35 fighter assembly and maintenance facility in the Linnavuori district of Nokia was completed and handed over in autumn 2025.
AdvertisementPatria also acquired the Belgian company Ilias Solutions, aiming to strengthen the maintenance and sustainment of military fleets through Ilias’ defence platform.
In addition, the company unveiled its newly developed tracked vehicle, Trackx, designed for operations in challenging conditions. The vehicle is expected to be ready for serial production in 2027.
