Rheinmetall cuts forecast after cancelled frigate order

The cancelled order to supply the German Navy with six frigates forces the giant to downgrade outlook

German giant Rheinmetall has cut its revenue forecast by EUR 300m following the German government's decision to cancel an order for six frigates.

In a trading update for the first half of 2026, the manufacturer says that it now expects revenue in the range of EUR 13.7bn to EUR 14.2bn and a result margin of around 19 per cent.
