When Danish media outlet Nordjyske, which is Defence Nordic's sister publication, contacted HMK Bilcon in Gistrup four months ago, the focus was on a company that had undergone a dramatic transformation.
It had gone from holes in the roof and machinery rusting away to a finely tuned growth business preparing to hire more employees. It had also just secured an order from one of the world’s largest defence companies, Germany’s Rheinmetall.
