Kongsberg secures sizable contract for Polish tank programme

The Norwegian defence group will supply remote weapon stations for three variants of the South Korean K2 platform, with deliveries beginning next year

Norwegian prime Kongsberg has secured a contract worth approximately NOK 700m to supply remote weapon stations for Poland's K2 armoured vehicle programme.

The agreement was signed with South Korean manufacturer Hyundai Rotem, which produces the K2 platform, according to a statement released by Kongsberg today.
