Danish radar manufacturer Weibel Scientific has won a contract worth approximately EUR 5.6m from Poland’s Military Institute of Armament Technology.
According to an award notice published today on the EU’s TED procurement portal, the contract was signed on 29 September and runs for 24 months.
Weibel will supply a trailer-mounted radar capable of tracking 155mm artillery shells at distances of at least 50km. The order includes personnel training.
