Saab has unveiled the first GlobalEye system ordered by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the Swedish Air Force. The Swedish Armed Forces designate the system S 106.

The rollout marks an important milestone in the introduction of Sweden’s new airborne surveillance and command capability. The next step is flight testing and continued verification ahead of delivery, which the Swedish Armed Forces has said is scheduled for 2027.
