There are several specific areas where Swedish suppliers could contribute to the defence industry, including gearboxes, machining, electronics and drones, according to Peter Bryntesson, CEO of FKG, the Vehicle Components Group in Sweden.
- We can manufacture gearboxes for combat vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles. I also see great potential for manufacturing aerial drones in Sweden instead of buying them from other countries, he said.
