Kongsberg has signed a NOK 10 billion deal for the delivery of the NASAMS missile defence system to Belgium.
The deal was signed with the Armed Forces procurement authority of the Netherlands which is procuring the system on behalf of Belgium.
The Belgian Air Force is the end user.
- With the acquisition of NASAMS, Belgium will gain solid national air defence coverage and at the same time contribute to increased European security, Eirik Lie, President and CEO of Kongsberg, said in a press release.
