European countries are increasingly turning to Israel for critical defence technology, even as political relations between the European Union and Israel become more strained during the Gaza conflict.
The systems include air defence, surveillance, electronic warfare and military communications.
The trend was underlined last month when Greece signed an agreement worth EUR 3 billion with Israel. The Achilles Shield system is designed to protect the country against missiles, aircraft and drones.
