Saab is reshuffling its Group Management team as the Swedish defence company prepares for further growth in its missile, fighter and aerospace businesses.
Marcus Wandt, a former fighter pilot, chief test pilot and astronaut, will become head of Saab’s Aeronautics business area on 1 October 2026.
Wandt currently leads Saab’s Group Strategy and Technology function. He will remain a member of Group Management in his new role.
