The procurement of five new Arctic vessels for the Danish Armed Forces is set to become significantly more expensive than previously assumed. The ships are intended, among other tasks, to carry out sovereignty enforcement and search-and-rescue missions in the Arctic.
This is reported by DR, based on a response from Defence Minister Jeppe Bruus to the Danish Parliament’s Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee.
