Saab is planning a new 80,000 sq metre facility at Hedenstorp, west of Jönköping, after outgrowing its current premises in Huskvarna.

The new facility is expected to be ready for occupancy around 2030 and will be one of the defence group’s largest.

Saab employs around 1,200 people at the site and has added approximately 100 employees a year in recent years. In addition to the factory site, the company rents five smaller offices in Jönköping. All operations will be brought together at the new site.
