Norway orders Patria 6x6 vehicles, deal could rise to NOK 1.5bn

Norway has ordered 20 Patria 6x6 armoured vehicles through the multinational Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme, further expanding the common vehicle platform across the Nordic countries.

The vehicles will be delivered in command-and-control variants and equipped with Kongsberg Protector RS4 remote weapon stations. The agreement also covers support, training and spare parts, while options could increase the Norwegian procurement by another 40 vehicles and weapon stations.
