Iceye has formally established an Indian business as it seeks a foothold in one of the world’s largest defence and space markets.
The Finnish satellite company announced the launch of Iceye India in a press release. The new entity will operate from New Delhi.
Its immediate priority will be to offer Indian defence and intelligence customers access to Iceye’s space-based intelligence capabilities. The company also plans to work with India’s wider defence and space industry on supply chains, technology validation and the development of local capabilities.
