Rheinmetall pitches "Loyal Wingman" as strike-fighter drone

German weapons manufacturer Rheinmetall said Monday that "leading air forces" worldwide are initiating the introduction of a strike-fighter drone iteration of the Boeing MQ-28, also known as the Ghost Bat.

The Ghost Bat was initially introduced by Boeing as a reconnaissance drone, but further iterations in the Royal Australian Air Force have enabled striking capabilities.
