Terma has signed an agreement with German defence contractor Diehl Defence to pursue joint development initiatives for future products and technologies.
According to a Terma press release, the two companies have collaborated on a range of defence projects for more than a decade.
AdvertisementTheir cooperation has focused in particular on ground-based air defence systems and the qualification of guided missiles, combining Diehl Defence's expertise with Terma's command-and-control capabilities across maritime, air, land and joint operations.
The companies said their complementary capabilities will support the development of new and innovative solutions.

Flarup added that the evolving security environment requires closer cooperation among leading European defence companies.

Dr Harald Buschek, chief programme officer of Diehl Defence, said the companies will assess opportunities for further joint activities based on their established track record and technological synergies.
Advertisement- Details will be subject to studies in the near future and will cover market segments such as space activities, counter-uncrewed aerial systems, air defence applications and collaboration on programmes initiated by the European Union, he said.
The agreement was signed during the ILA Berlin Air Show 2026.
