- The first quarter developed in line with our expectations. The group delivered solid growth and an improved operating margin, while order intake reached a new record, said CEO Daniel Ljunggren.

Investing in capacity

The company continues to invest in capacity to meet rising demand, including the expansion of its Helsingborg facility, which is expected to double capacity and support future growth.

During the quarter, Mildef secured strategic contracts within its solutions business, spanning system design, installation and maintenance of tactical IT systems. According to the CEO, these contracts support higher margins and more stable cash flow.

- These contracts demonstrate our ability to deliver in-demand IT solutions for military applications and reinforce Mildef’s position as a key supplier in this segment, Ljunggren said.

Mildef also pointed to increasing geopolitical uncertainty as a driver of demand, as European countries continue to strengthen defence spending.
