Saab has signed new agreements with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and WB Group to deepen industrial cooperation between Sweden and Poland.
According to Saab, the agreements cover collaboration on maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for submarines under Poland’s Orka submarine programme, as well as the development of autonomous maritime systems and the unmanned aerial vehicle programmes Gladius and Future Task Force.

Poland has doubled its defence spending since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and is estimated to allocate between 4.5 and 4.7 per cent of GDP to defence, the highest level among NATO members.
